Reclaim offers Allied Health Assistant (AHA) supports, providing care and support for our clients of all ages with physical or intellectual disabilities, or suffering from chronic conditions.
Our AHA’s are a valuable addition to our team all of whom have commenced tertiary study in the Allied Health field and who provide excellent support and programs under the clear direction of our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists.
AHAs will work closely under the supervision of our qualified therapists to provide you with support and motivation in your therapy programs. Our AHAs liaise regularly with your treating therapist, reporting to them regularly to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved through your therapy sessions as well as assisting you in making progress, gaining confidence, and achieving goals.
You can expect your allied health assistant to be supportive, communicative, and professional when it comes to completing your weekly or fortnightly clinical exercise programs which will be devised and reviewed regularly by your Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist.
Our AHA’s implement your therapy program in an engaging, enthusiastic yet safe and supportive manner and recognising that our clients and their energy levels can differ depending on many variable factors.
An Allied Health Assistant at Reclaim isn’t simply going to provide you with the support and encouragement you may need to complete your therapy program, they will go above and beyond to make sure you are feeling like your needs are being met as well as tailoring the Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiologist prescribed program in such a way that you are always excited to engage in your sessions!
