The Springfield Junior Rugby League Football Club Inc. was formed to promote, foster, support and encourage children to play Rugby League. The club was founded in 1998 and is a proud member of the Ipswich Junior Rugby League (IJRL) competition incorporating 13clubs. Theclub is located in South-East Queensland’s fastest growing region. The Greater Springfield area which is home to more than 18,000 residents with a population forecast set to reach 86,000 in2030.
Springfield Panthers Junior Rugby League had 331 registered players in season 2016 across 25 teams from Under 6 through to Under 17. With extensive Coaching and Player Development programs in place the club is looking to build on the success of season 2016 where 5 teams qualified for finals with three teams making the Grand Final.Under 12’s winning their Grand Final to become 2016 premiers.
