Bec is a very highly experienced Senior Physiotherapist with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care. She continually advances her knowledge and skills and her diverse range of interests and extensive experience make her an invaluable member of the Reclaim Health and Rehabilitation team. 

Bec’s extensive experience in the field speaks volumes. She graduated in 2009 and has worked in various private practices, including Sandgate for two years, Ipswich for five years, and Reclaim Health and Rehabilitation since 2016. Throughout her career, she has offered matwork and reformer Pilates as well as hydrotherapy, enriching her expertise in these areas. Bec has also served as the physiotherapist for hockey and soccer teams, traveling with them to national competitions. 

Bec’s physiotherapy approach is deeply patient-focused, with a strong emphasis on empowering her clients to take control of their health. She places a high value on self-management and exercise-based rehabilitation. As a hands-on practitioner, she utilizes techniques like dry needling and taping to enhance her clients’ outcomes. 

With a keen interest in women’s health, Bec specializes in pelvic floor retraining, prolapse management, antenatal care, post-partum management, and mastitis. Her dedication to this field allows her to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to women at every stage of life. 

Additionally, Bec is an expert in Pilates, offering both clinical and fit classes. She excels in designing Pilates programs that help her clients achieve their fitness and rehabilitation goals. Sporting injuries are another of her areas of expertise and she brings a wealth of experience to her approach in this area. Her skill in addressing general musculoskeletal issues further demonstrates her versatile expertise. 

Outside of her professional life, Bec’s love for sports and an active lifestyle is clear. Her sporting background in basketball and volleyball has instilled in her a deep appreciation for the importance of physical health. Currently, you can find her running, working out in the gym, practicing Pilates, and enjoying leisurely walks with her dogs. Her dedication to her personal well-being mirrors her commitment to helping her clients achieve their health and fitness goals.
