Michael Olivotto

Role Description:

Physiotherapist

Michael is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist. He moved to Australia 5 years ago to complete his Master’s of Physiotherapy at UQ and fell in love with Australia. Since graduating in 2021 he has worked with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

Michael believes in a patient centred approach to physiotherapy. He understands that no two people are the same and will always personalise his approach to your recovery. He uses hands-on techniques, such as soft tissue release and dry needling, to supplement and support appropriate home and gym-based exercise programs. Michael believes in empowering the individual to take control of their health and rehabilitation.

In Canada, Michael was an experienced yoga instructor as well as personal trainer. He brings these diverse skills to his physiotherapy practice. He is always striving to improve and deepen his knowledge by continuing his education and keeping appraised of the current research.

Outside of physiotherapy, Micheal is a new father who loves juggling family time with staying active and exploring Australia. He would love to hear any little know Australian travel destinations that you may have visited.
