The MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride has been part of the Brisbane cycling scene for over two decades. Not only is it loved by families for its fun and friendly atmosphere, the 100km distance provides a scenic route to the Bay for the more experienced riders. And new to 2017, we are introducing the new 160km Classic (that’s 100 miles!).
This ride is more than just a fun day out on the bike; our amazing riders raise money to help change the lives of the thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
This year, on Sunday 18 June, thousands of riders will be slipping into the lycra to take part in the annual ride to fight MS. Now in its 27th year, the ride has come a long way since its humble beginnings, when it attracted a modest 80 riders.
This year we are aiming to raise $1.5 million for people living with MS.
You can join in on the challenge by riding one of our five exciting distances. There is the family friendly 10km around the Brisbane Riverside, the scenic 25km ride to Balmoral, the classic 50km to Wynnum or the challenging 100km course to Wellington Point! And the new 160km course for those up for an extra challenge!
The diverse range of courses means riders from all walks of life and skill level are able to hop on their bike and make a difference for people living with multiple sclerosis.
